Well said, the same principles as a Chamber Board that make or break the impact we can have on our communities.

Many of the principles which apply to school boards do extend to other boards - particularly to elected, public boards - but the principles of leading through influence and example are 100% universal. On the flip side of that coin, leading through power or authority is more akin to coercion than leadership.

I love the simplicity of this, Brad.

I think this rings true for any group or team that strives to perform well, the team is only as strong as the weakest player.

I appreciate the time that you have spent learning and growing so our kids can have a better experience.

Thanks, Joni. The cornerstone of a high-performing board is each trustee having the honest desire to be a GOOD trustee! After that, everything else is relatively easy.
